Hydraulic lime or NHL (naturally hydraulic lime) is a natural powder product that can be used both as a binder for masonry buildings and as a plaster. It combines the properties of classic lime plaster: binds CO2 in the atmosphere and hardens by water absorption (without added cement). Hydraulic lime is especially recommended for the protection of historic buildings (filling joints).
